Booking & Cancellation Conditions
All payments must be made in US dollars, by a bank transfer (personal cheques or credit cards are not accepted). Please make all payments in favor of :

To reserve a trekking , peak climbing, tour and other services with Adventure Fairsteps Treks the following conditions apply.

A deposit of US$200 per person (non refundable) 60 days prior to trip date to reserve a place.

For the Camping treks 25% of total tour cost.

The balance must reach us at least 30 days prior to trip date to confirm a place/s.

If booking less than 30 days before trip date, please send in deposit to reserve a place immediately, balance payment to be made upon arrival in Kathmandu by travellers cheque or cash. Please note we do not guarantee a seat until full payments are made.

We do except last minute bookings if places are open for any departure (up to 2 days before trip date) in a first come, first served basis. In such case all payments can be made, in cash or travellers cheque, in Kathmandu prior to departure on trek/tour.

All participants must arrive Kathmandu at least two days in advance days will be counting including your arrival and departure day, Day 1 arriving in Kathmandu we'll come to receive you at the airport drive to hotel briefing in the evening day two sight seen Kathmandu valley or preparing for the trek, Day 3 start trek or fly/drive to destinations
(5 days for Tibet Trips) in order to process your trekking or Tibet permits. Special accommodation offers in Kathmandu, we categories 3 different kind of Accommodation 5 Star, 4 Star & 3 Star, special rates we extend only to those who are booked on our group departures.

Cancellation : For canceling a booked trip the following fees apply:

More than 30 days before departure - Deposit amount

• 30 days before departure date - 25% of total cost
  
• 15 days before departure date - 50% of total cost
  
• Less than 15 days before departure date - No Refund.

GENERAL INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS - (Assumption of Risks, Release & Guarantee)

I understand and am aware that during the tour or trek in which I intend to participate under the arrangements of Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., and its agents, associates or employees, certain risks, dangers or problems may arise, including but not limited to the hazards of travelling in remote and mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places without the availability of medical facilities or means of rapid evacuation.

I accept and agree to assume all risks associated with the journey and further agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., as described here, in its brochures or publications. And in the event of illness, accident, weather, political and other factors beyond the control Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., its agents, associates or employees, I will not hold Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., its agents, associates or employees responsible or liable for damages. I understand that I travel at my/our own risk.

I further understand and accept that due to the nature of terrain and travel in Tibet and also due to the political instability and poor tourism infrastructure existing in region, the tour I intend to undertake under the arrangements of Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., & its agents or associates may fall short of my expectation.

I understand that I am not eligible to any refunds once the tour is launched, aborted or abandoned for whatsoever reason. However, in special cases appropriate refunds will be considered such as for certain services not rendered or missed as a direct result of Tibet ground handling agent or as a result of guide's negligence. Under such circumstances refund claim will only be limited to actual cost of the relevant services. For instance, due to overbooking if a designated hotel is not available and I had to stay in lower category hotel then the actual cost difference between the two hotels will be considered for refund.

Similarly, if certain sightseeing points are missed then only entrance fees to these missed monasteries will only be considered for refund.

In the event of landslides, whatever additional transportation cost or porterage cost incurred shall be borne by me.

I further accept and agree that the decision of Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., pertaining to refund claim is final and shall not seek legal action against Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., its agents, associates or employees.

Participants are held responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the trip. Once a trip has started, refunds will not be made for missed arrangements for any reason whatsoever. We highly recommend that you obtain trip cancellation insurance.

* Canceled Trips: Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate sign up, which makes the trip economically unfeasible to operate. A full refund of land cost is given. Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd.,is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by members in preparing for the trip, such as non-refundable Advance Purchase air tickets, visa fees, etc. However, Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., will offer custom trip services for those who still wish to travel.

INSURANCE
Travel insurance policy information will be provided to all trip members prior to departure. We ask that each member take out Trip Cancellation coverage, at least a standard package, which will reimburse him/her in the event emergency evacuation by helicopter were necessary. We also recommend travel accident and baggage insurance.

MEDICAL AND HEALTH
It is vital that persons with medical problems make them known to us well before departure. We ask that every participant carefully complete the medical / waiver form. The trip leader has the right to disqualify anyone at any time during the trip if he feels the trip member is incapable and/or if a trip member's continued participation will jeopardize the safety of the group. Refunds are not given under such circumstances. Although ADVENTURE FAIRSTEPS TREKS (P.) LTD. will endeavor to secure the services of a doctor on every trip where the need is obvious, we assume no liability regarding the provision of medical care.

TRIP MEMBER'S AGREEMENT REGARDING COMPLETE ASSUMPTION OF RISK OF TRAVEL AND RELEASE OF ADVENTURE FAIRSTEPS TREKS (P.) LTD., LIABILITY

I ACKNOWLEDGE THE RISK AND HAZARDS OF TRAVEL IN REMOTE AREAS WHERE INJURY, DELAY OR UNANTICIPATED EVENTS MAY OCCUR. BY SIGNING THIS STATEMENT I ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY OWN WELFARE AND WAIVE ANY FUTURE CLAIMS AGAINST ADVENTURE FAIRSTEPS TREKS (P.) LTD., FOR LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

I understand that I am undertaking travel to remote geographical areas located in lesser developed countries where, among other things, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, standards of quality, hygiene, political stability, cuisine, sanitation facilities, cleanliness, level of infrastructural development, telecommunications facilities, methods of conducting business, medical evacuation, etc. may be deemed unsatisfactory and/or not equivalent to those found in the industrialized nations. I also understand that the normal level of medical treatment and services, including the presence of a physician or any other trained medical professionals and/or availability of prescription type drugs, may not be possible. I fully release Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., from any and all liability in connection with the foregoing.

I am aware that travel within a group situation invariably involves compromise to accommodate the diverse desires, travel goals, personalities, and physical abilities of group members. I have been advised that my tour leader may be required to improvise and exercise his or her good-faith discretion and/or make decisions based upon the consensus of the group which may not please me personally but satisfy the larger desires of the group. I acknowledge and accept these aspects of group travel.

I acknowledge that the cost of all Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd.,trips has been based upon Trip Participants executing this Complete Assumption of Risk of Travel and Release of Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., Liability. I have voluntarily agreed to participate in a Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., trip and willingly execute this document. I absolutely understand its contents and legal ramifications, especially those pertaining to my full assumption of the risk of travel and my release of Tibet Travels Tours (P) Ltd. from any and all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

I confirm that I have read, fully understand, and agree to all of the terms and conditions contained in General Information, Terms, and Conditions; and Limitation of Liability, especially noting the policies on cancellations and refunds, limitations of liability, participant responsibility, and airline responsibility. I also confirm that I will have fully read and understood my responsibilities as outlined in the Pre-trip information prior to trip departure and consulted a physician about appropriate medical preparation. Additionally, he has certified that I am physically able to do this trip.

I understand that all Trip applications are subject to acceptance by Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., in Samakhusi, Katmandu, Nepal

I agree that in the event any part or portion of this Trip Member's Agreement Regarding Complete Assumption of Risk of Travel and Release of Adventure Fairsteps Treks (P.) Ltd., Liability is found to be void or unenforceable, then such part or portion will be stricken but the rest of the Agreement will be given full force and effect. *Yes No
